iamlegend Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 well what a fucking carry on today ripping the ct9 set up off the car to get the TDO4 set up on the go got the exhaust manifold on and i was thinking hmmm the external wastegate is extremely close to my auto gearbox tried to put it on and bang AND DOES NOT FIT the auto gearbox is in the way! so thats that foooked!! so now theres me with no car and the kit is not going to fit i wish bloody traders could give exact description of the products they sell sick of getting stuff what supposed to be "amazing" fit and it bloody well doesnt! not happy at all bout that but what can i do....VERY lucky my mate is in the uni automotive so he is going to cut the E/W flange on the manifold and turn it around so the external wastegate sits the other way but still ffs so now this will not be done till next weekend and i have work on monday Quote

_shaun_ Posted January 29, 2011 Posted January 29, 2011 must admit ive had a few iteams from zisco and ive explained what set up i have and they have made it to suit. did u tell them it was an auto? am sure if they had any idea there was even a chance it didnt fit they would have moded it to fit.but yea feel your pain bad sucks when things dont go to plan and your without a car for afew days Quote

shorty Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 Gonna stick up for legend here, the fact he drives auto is errelivant, he stated when odering its auto what more could he do, he is in the hands of the trader if they ok the fit your not going to question them. Tbh mate i feel you pain theres nothing worse than having a simple job fucked over by somthing out of your hands! If a kit is said to fit it should fit! Take it to an exhust specialist they will flip it round in ten mins cost fook all im sure its only mild steel is easy to chop and weld Quote
