Can someone tell me how I can get more HP for about 500 quid max, like what combinations work?

My V at teh moment has,

cat back blitz exhaust

FMIC

Derestricted pipes.

What can I add? eg upgraded turbo and ecu, which ones etc?

For 500 id say mani , decat , ajustable acturator and a fcd

Thats if you find barganes neways lol

What type of mani? Or do I just get one to fit the standard turbo?

What does the ajustable acuator do?

nah just kidding dude, urm, could just get your mani ported, and buy a decat if your running a standard turbo

and maybe an electronic boost controllor? not sure how much the go for

and buy a few parts to make an airfilter relocation kit :p

Sounds good, I might do this, but buy a new mani and decat and get a boost controller.

just make sure you stay away from the dodgy ebay stainless mani's

theres a thread somewhere with whats needed to make an airfilter relocation kit, and it costs about 30-40 max

Emanage Blue for £250 here

Emanage Ultimate full kit here

I'd go for the ultimate as it has more features and a little more tunability but a bit more expensive @£400+.

However many use the Blues for tuning with no problems. They won't hang around for long.

EP82 use 2 pin connectors and EP91 3 pin connectors to plug into the ecu plugs so be sure to check if a field harness is included.

Entry level EMS units can also be had for around the £400-£500 mark.

Tune it once, tune it right and it will save you in the long run.

Thats how much it cost me anyway!

I run TD04 at 1bar Standard inj and standard ecu... (i am forged) so dunno wat standard one can run at 0.8 - 1.0 would be ok i guess

Keep it simple

Boost gauge ~ £20

HKS Actuator ~ £60

Decat~£70

Port standard manifold ~ Free

Port wastegate on Turbo ~ Free

Filter Relocation Kit ~ £35 + a cheap cone filter

FMIC ~ £100-150

Should see about 160ish-bhp @ 0.8bar

Setting that to about 1bar how much hp do you reckon?

Still need a cheap RRFPR and FCD if anyone has one?

Probably about 170bhp, you'd probably be around 180-185bhp with an FMIC

When I fitted my Mine's ECU (still at 0.8Bar) I could really feel the need for an FMIC, it wouldn't pull at higher speeds. Fitted one and it made a big difference!

Already got a FMIC so its all gooooood.
