Lukew360
1. What are the Pros and Cons of not using the 2 O2 sensors in the cat? There's a lot of "soot" in my exhaust, I think it's running a bit rich - think it might be a Lambda sensor? 2. Plug and Play ECU, Can I run it with my standard exhaust manifold and top mount cooler? Or should I wait until I fit the FMIC and manifold? Thanks in advance!
ro55ifumi
Wait until you fit the mani and fmic mate
Lukew360
Was afraid that would be the case! I can't wait to fit it but I'll hold out Will have the mani fitted pretty soonish, still need to get hold of a decent fmic that doesn't require to much butchering.Still not recommended to run the ECU on a TMIC? Amjad
I ran it on TMIC for a bit. Works well but the thing is in 4th gear and above you will REALLY notice heatsoak/limp mode and the need for a FMIC!Once FMIC was fitted it flew
iamlegend
do it right do it once, fit all the parts needed first then plug the ECU in and then enjoy!
Lukew360
Cheers guys, I'll wait now Anybody know about the 2 cat sensors? Lambda and O2
Amjad
What about them? Lambda is the O2 sensor and you'll need it for a decat. The lower sensor is temperature I think, and not really needed I don't think as mine runs fine without it

Lukew360
Well basically I think I might have a iffy Lam Sensor, the cars running rich. You can smell it and my fence is black from where I start the car up in the morning lolSo I guess I'll replace it now
