Guess how much for a set of speedlines, from toyota, without tyres would cost. More to the point, guess how much a single one would cost.

Now, no cheating and ringing toyota! Play fair!

£209 a rim?

You've been ripped off mate! £208!!! How ridiculous is that?!? Then my insurance company want to put my excess up £100 for me putting some alloys on, which they'll only replace with speedlines if anything happens, even though the alloys I've got are cheaper!!!

So they're £208?

Fcukin hell mate i seriously took a total RANDOM guess there and i mean it. Plus i can't ring Toyota parts department after 5 so that means i can't have cheated! How good am i! :)

Just imagine how much of a good set of alloys you could get for £208 not including tyres!! :)

Toyota do tend to rip you off a bit :p

They said to sort my rear oil seal it would be £660

(lots of labour as have to remove gearbox and clutch)

My local garage sorted the oil seal, fitted a set of mudflaps and checked the suspension, all for £217!

Madness :DB)

i was just wondering price because my insurance says if my new ones get nicked when there on they will only be replaced with standard fit wheels so, on my sr that would be speedlines i was trying to explain to them that it would cost them more to replace with standard fit!!! (£1000 for speed lines with tyres or 550 tops for something like to ones that im putting on!!!) :) but they still insist on putting up my excess!! :D

Thats because iin the short term they make money out of you.

Then if the wheels do get nicked they'll do everything possible to avoid paying out.

(make sure you get locking wheelnuts my man)

In summary, insurance companys smell :)

no but that is the point they dont they aren't putting my policy up just my excess and the usual charge for change of policy!!! yea lockers already purchased kei racing ones!!
