N80Jamie
Well after the ball ache of getting the old manifold/turbo/downpipe off due to a snapped bolt, just lined up the new kit and the exhaust doesn't match up to the downpipe! So fu**ed off! What shall i do next..?! :|
ollie ryan
custom is the only wayfit it all up and drive it to an exhaust place
N80Jamie
I don't get why it doesnt fit though if it was designed for the starlet? Unless i've been sold a gt kit and there not the same as the glanza kits?
Starbuck
Fuckin yell dude. Didn't someone say once its never easy nodding these cars..... always something comes up. Looks like 2inches or so needs to come off and new flange
Amjad
What downpipe is it?

So if i text asking about what he had this fitted to i probably won't get one! What downpipe is it?It was sold to me as a 'WEPR' td04 kit so it should be a WEPR downpipe
Lee_EP82
The downpipe looks to be for a custom exhaust?
Sparky
WEPR do a full exhaust system so its more than likely to be made for that specific exhaust. Most people make the downpipes/kits so they are stock exhaust position friendlyNothing but a ball ace modding cars mate I would either get a racetech decat or go to a local exhaust fabricator shouldnt cost to much to modify to fit.
DavidAshton
Wepr kit designed for a wepr exhaust, all the older wepr kits were like this. Did the seller not state?
Amjad
I was wondering if it was WEPR, I think it's suited to their Sidewinder exhaustMay as well get the Japspeed modded too, 2.25" front section isn't a lot. I'm planning to get mine made to 2.5" when I go TD04
Sparky
Amjad speaks sense, get a 2.5" centre section made up
GlanzaJim
me mate had same kit and to fit his he cut his pipe off (the flange bit or what ever you call it) and weld the exhaust straight to the down pipe. this worked for him lol.Uploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.usme bro cut it off cause he thinks his will bolt on straight to it, but dont know yet,
Russleh
had the same issue when i done this dude. got a jperformance exhaust and it didnt fit as i had the old wepr downpipe for the wepr exhausts.you probably best of buyin a new downpipe
Lee_EP82
I had a WEPR sidewinder exhaust and it fit straight up to my zisco td04 kit, only modification was the flange needed to be changed. That looks to be wrong angle and everything.
Joshua.J
Didnt no about this mate, guess this is why you were calling me at work. When i went to powerflow to get a custom downpipe it was 250quid due to the centre flex. Best bet is custom made decat if that would fit? or what about your old exhaust does that fit?
Blitz
i been talking to sacha at wepr and when ordering he does ask what exhaust your running so id imagine he makes the down pipe to fit "/
N80Jamie
QuadcoreCraig did not state this in his add and he is now not texting me back or answering his calls.. Typical.
bucketep91
can the center section be removed and fitted upside down? it might fit then?
N80Jamie
can the center section be removed and fitted upside down? it might fit then?Thats the first thing i tried but there's no way that will work unfortunately :|
bucketep91
well the flange on the decat is upside down any way. looks to me if the exhaust was cut, rotated round and rewelded it might just fit. If not im sure a decent fabricator could make it fit
nazzurro19
oh geeze ive got a wepr kit n now im worried lol !
N80Jamie
I don't want to cut and weld the exhaust or the downpipe tbh. I'm either going to get a new decat or a new kit. Do you think it would fair for me to ask quadcorecraig for a refund considering he didn't explain this issue to me?
nazzurro19
did you ask a question asking if it would fit , or did he mention saying it would fit your setup etc ? cause if not he might argue saying well u didnt ask what ya was buying etc
N80Jamie
He just said on the add and on pm's that it was a full WEPR TD04 kit including oil, water lines etc. He did not mention to me once that it would only fit a WEPR exhaust system and tbh that's a pretty big thing not to mention. Majority of people don't run these exhausts so i didn't even think of asking that question. There's a case for each of us to argue.
nazzurro19
yeah if i was you pm him etc and see if hes willing to take it back
