My dad has this (click the link). I have used it a few times and it has never missed a camera. The only downside is that you have to update it quite regularly to make sure its up to date.

most sat navs pick up speed camera's nowadays. same as any of the devices for speed cameras, you have to update to keep on top of things.

but i dont think that there is anything out there going to get a mobile police unit, which is affordable at the moment.

Snooper is the one you want!! Mine saved my arse loooooooads of times!! And eyes open like a hawk dosnt show you the sneaky bastard in a lay by with a speed gun but the snooper will as he is your freind!!

I have a snooper sapphire it warns you of speed cams and mobile cam sights have to pay 30 a year to be able to download the database but well worth it :-)

like you said only laser camera's tho, a few mobiles still use radar, and so do the fiexed gasto's and it wont do anything to stop you getting caught against those..

best laser/radar detector by a long way is a valentine v1 for picking up mobile speed cameras..
