Driver Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 I love them :')Although the N/A Boxer wouldnt of been my engine of choice, take it out and drop a modern 4AGE in it with about 200bhp and would be a good base to build on. or better still somethig that makes more boost Quote
Amjad Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Looks a bit disappointing in those pics, also not enough power but the car is light at 1100kgPersonally loving the Hyundai Genesis, they need to bring it to the UK! Quote
hill_bill10 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Its the new celica, read about it last year in a magazine, RWD Subaru boxer N/A engine Quote
snails ep91 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 that hyundai is lush! it come in right hand drive? very very nice! Quote
TrisK Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 they always said the Lexus IS200/Toyota Altezza was the new AE86 Quote
Driver Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 but the car is light at 1100kgonly 1100Kg ??? Really ? thats light for what it is ! my Civic coupe is stripped out with no carpet in it or anything and is still 1080kg on local weigh bridge !Works out roughly 180bhp per ton at 200bhp and that will be fairly nippy for an N/A car. Still think they should of ditched boxer and had a turbo personally though. Quote
Amjad Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 that hyundai is lush! it come in right hand drive? very very nice!I only know of it being sold in the US so no RWD with a 2L Turbo 4 or a 3.8 V6only 1100Kg ??? Really ? thats light for what it is ! my Civic coupe is stripped out with no carpet in it or anything and is still 1080kg on local weigh bridge !Works out roughly 180bhp per ton at 200bhp and that will be fairly nippy for an N/A car. Still think they should of ditched boxer and had a turbo personally though.Yeah think that's what I read somewhere, very light for a new car. Agreed, they should have offered a Turbo model from the get go. Word has it that this model will underpin the future Supra Quote
Russleh Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 both nice cars i just cant see any of the newly designed cars being as cool in years to come tho like the way we all look at ae86s etc. Quote
mech5107 Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 If it's cheap, then yes maybe it's the new 86...although the 2l engine spoils it...but concidering that back then the 1,6l was a "big" engine, it's similar to todays 2l... Quote
