BigMan
i wouldnt do it to be honest as your not covered if it all goes tits up, best advice would be do it via pay pal, easy to set up an account!
Simon
Stay well clear unless you know them very very well if they are that much of a good price could you not factor in a tank of fuel and go get them and pay cash?

Keri-WMS
I've got a feeling there are some easy online Escrow services (other than PayPal) - might be worth a look for private sellers?
Idrees
You have NO cover whatsoever, there's no chance the bank will help you get your money back if the seller does a runner. I've done bank transfers with many members on here, like James I'm not running anywhere, and I've only paid members that I know well.

ryan lang
i bought my wheels off a new member through bank transferjust depends how genuine you think the guy is.
*Zoe*
in terms of your account protection your fine, but unless it is over a certain amount you have no cover. As people have said on here only do it if you no the person and trust them.i used to work at a bank and deal with fruad and claims a lot, you'll be suprise what people can get away with so its just not worth it sometimes
