One of the main attractions of the 4wds is the short ratio box, although you can swap the gears from a yaris diesel or a glanza to get a higher top end. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

richglanzav Posted February 20, 2012 Share Posted February 20, 2012 Deffo going to see about doing this over winter, I've spent a fortune now so no point stopping lol plus id never sell the starlet even if it was stuck in my garage, would lose waaay too much money to even consider it lolhey mate sounds like a nice project. theres been a few 4wd starlets running 300+bhp i think, ted, weejohn, gaz's blue one, if im right here, the 4wd boxes have the same strength internals as the gt and glanza boxes and we all know they can take a lot of power. ive got an ep95 myself. decided to go with that as i previously had a td04 glanza and even with an LSD the traction was annoying couldn't really plant it until 3rd and 4th so well annoying. thats the reason ive decided to try a 4wd one this time.
