Mikey Jay
Bloody hell man, hope you're ok (other than the whiplash, how bad is the whiplash?)(by the way, my gf, a member on here - Joey, is in the world of personal injury claims/road traffic accident compensation, so any questions regarding compensation just send her a PM and she may be able to give some advice )Tis a real bugger though, had only just sorted the wheels Sad to see the car like that (tis still shiny, despite the damage )Is it a write off by the way??Or you going to repair it?Take care man
muddyell
I dont actually know yet man as the insurance companies aint open as its a bank holidayI am hoping it can be repaired thoughMy neck is bloody killin me at the moment and so are my shouldersWas told at hospital that worst is yet to come I was thinking of claimingWill i get much?
Mikey Jay
Jo says if the hospital can provide notes then go ahead and claim. But no idea on the amount of compensation as every whiplash case is different. Will definately help that the hospital can confirm you do genuinely have whiplash.(by the way, what does 'the worst is yet to come' mean?) muddyell
Well nurse said that it may hurt now but wait till morning, will be even worseWhat kind of notes do i needThey didnt really give me muchJust pain killers and an advise sheet on neck injuries
SiCaln
looks like a write off to me man, sorry but the axle looks bent from the angle of that front wheel
Mikey Jay
What you need to do is talk to your insurance company and inform them that you wish to go and claim for whiplash compensation from the other guy's insurance. Then you need to sort yourself out with a solictors, where that neck injury advise sheet should be enough to get the ball rolling. However, bear in mind there will be initial cost as solicitors cost a fair ol' bit of money, although you should get back the money you payed out, hopefully more, once again, it varies from case to case when it comes to whiplash.Best thing really though is to have a good chat with your insurers and see what they recommend as the course of action to take.Hope all that waffle helps (went whoosh over my head, Jo was dictating, I just typed )

Glanza_Ragger
Shit man, Unlucky. At least youve only got whiplash though !As Sicaln said, the axle looks pissed, but depending how much the car is valued at, they may replace the whole axle.Truly sorry for you

Bourkey
I work in Personal injury. You would be looking around 3-4k i reckon. Send me a pm if you want the number of the place i work. We only take on a case if it will win and I've'e seen a lot of these been won. AND you wouldn't have to pay a penny at all. It's completely free. Ps, We are one of the top law firms in the country. (sorry for the advert)On the car front it looks like it could be just body panels instead of chassis welding, but as someone has pointed out the wheel looks like it was hit hard so it could be expensive. Fogdoggydog
Ah dood! Sorry to hear this! The most important thing is that you're OK. A bit of a sore neck is a 'good' outcome in any accident. Was so tempted to get out and twat him oneBut then he just said 'sorry mate, my fault' so i left him aloneHope you got that in the police report...
