tongs gt spec people view's on them

just wondering what peoples views are on the tongs gt spec hybrid turbos as ive just bought 1 thats covered 8k for 160quid witch i think is a good bargin just wondering what sort of power boost people are running with these turbos

sounds like ive bought my self a bargin then just has a very ting crack next to the waste gate penny put nothing i cant weld up

Ive had 2. Loved them!

People overlook hybrids these days as td04 packs more punch for the money, the people who tell you they are a waste of time are usually the people who have never tried one.

some people have said i wont get much gains over a stock 1 but i dont know so wont hurt to try it its gota be btter than a stock 1 otherwise no1 would make or buy them

im going to be using a zisco ram horn mani 1 of deans shorted hot pipes blitz nurspec de-cat tunning developments fuel pump oil cooler ajustable fuel reg hks actuator and greddy emange blue mapped by tunning develpoments and a front mount intercooler with front mount air filter. and see what power that makes on stock internals

I nearly bought the same turbo, sounded like a good buy, am after a tongs very soon pretty much the same set up as you but running a ported mani and sard ecu :-) let me know what power you get dude...

there a good turbo imo probaly one of the best hybrids made id say theres around 50000km on mine and still going strong, gets a bar boost in 5th around 3500 - 3600 rpm with hks act and greddy profec type s, nice torque from them id say im at 190bhp or so with 95ron fuel
