As for the dc5 and other hondas, unless you go turbo its fucking hard to get a decent amount of power out of them for the money spent imo.

Not entirely true mate, the K series reacts quite well to a few bolt ons and K pro.

DC5 wouldn't be a bad car, better than a Starlet in most ways tbh, but it will be a different car altogether compared to a Starlet.

Im going to be getting a dc2 towards the end of summer as my daily, theyr good reliable cars and hondas are renown for theyr engine reliabilty, as someone above said theyr not all that without a turbo bolted on, i own a b16 turbo civic and at just 7psi it makes 280bhp! The sound of the n/a's is awsome but if your used to a TD04'd glanza u may be dissapointed when your getting beat in races all the time lol

Yeah the k and b series do respond to a few bolt ons and there is power to be had, but imo for the MONEY SPENT i dont see the point, unless you go turbo.

I agree the Honda engines are pretty bomb proof aslong as they are maintained well / regularly n not bad looking cars at all
