theminiguru
Replacing my standard steering wheel with a boss kit etc. I've heared you can confuse the car in thinking the airbag is still attached by doing something with the wires that plug into it? Does anyone know how this is done? Will be massively appreciated

akyakapotter
surely its just a case of bridging the connection so it thinks its still there. Sure some one will no the correct answer
daniel_g
You just need a resistor, not sure what ohms though. Get a few and try them.
jamesglanza
I used this bosshttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STEERING-WHEEL-HUB-BOSS-KIT-Toyota-STARLET-inc-GLanza-/360428659497?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item53eb38e329Plugged in the wires and no light came on the dash so happy days. Dont forget to disconnect the battery lolThink it has to be (Part No. T-16) as this is the one for air bags and has the resistor to plug the wires into so the light on the dash stays off.
