Hi guys.

I need someone who knows about LEDs

I know nothing about leds. so I would need some help.

I want to replace some of the dash bulbs on my dash to LEDs. At the moment I see little light bilbs with a green nipples on it.

I want to replace them with a White LED but I am unsure which ones I need.

However I have managed to find a little info but I am still unsure which ones I need.

(reading from japan auction) they are saying something about T3-1 and T4.2 do these sound right?

Any good place to buy these from? found 1 on ebay from ireland but seems to be quite expensive.....unless thats the going rate?

Thanks

be careful with LEDs in the dash cluster.

you seen the green plastic circuit board on the back of the cluster? it has copper strands between all the bulbs. when i put LEDs in they melted those copper strands. I've melted two circuit boards using LEDs.

Dont know what T size they are but there are 12 or 13 little ones, depending if you have ABS or not, 1 slighty bigger for the fuel gauge and 3 big 501 bulbs.

What T are all these so we can order up ?

Did this a year ago so I'm not quite sure but 2xT10 and 4xT5 IIRC. Buy a few extras and you won't miss one. Also remember to check the + and - :-)

Edit: Glanza cluster from back, thanks to austarletclub
