anyone recognise these wheels or brand?

hello all, ive done a bitta googleing an cant find bugger all about these wheels, i think there japanese because the sticker is full of japanese writing, jus wondereing if anyone regonises the wheel or make of them, phots a bit unclear but can jus about make it out in the top right hand corner

There is a huge thread somewhere on here with loads of pics of jdm wheels with manufacturer's name etc, you might be able to match your pic to one on there.

Look like rays gram lights 57c to me, very rare and lightweight! Although not the lightest wheel ;)

Agreed they do look alot like the rays adam but when u looj close where the wheel stud holes are on the rays they have holes in them where as tge centers on mine are solid, also where tge spokes come into the center of the wheel it dosnt jus end and recess into the center, is smooth and curves in... Might take one to work an wip a tyre off, see if theres anything on the wel of the wheel...

Rays Gramlights 57Cs only have 5 spokes as opposed to the 6 in the pic

The Rays would certainly have the Rays foundry stamp inside plus the sticker would be 'Rays' branded and the dimensions on it for such a high profile, readily available series of alloy.

Advan RGs are the other jdm alloy that has 6 straight spokes but they have a different shaped end where the spokes meet at the edge. Even the early RGs are very similar.

They look to be a jdm copy of sorts, the 5 and 6 spoke designs are very commonly reproduced and are sometimes different divisions or associates of the original manufacturer. This shows how easily a simple design can be reproduced by a 3rd party company but yours look well used and the jap writing is a dead giveaway - http://shop.microima...W1608.60811.jpg

Its like the difference between Spoon alloys, Regamaster Evos and Rota Slipstream, they are the same design (originator or not), different companies.

Either way they are a sweet and simple design, can't go wrong with them mate

If you know someone who can read Jap they should be able to make out the brand/manufacturers name.

Those markings are just the quality standards and regulations for aftermarket alloys wheels in Japan mate.

They won't tell you the brand or make whatsoever besides the fact they were made and branded in Japan

My Rays have the VIA marking for example. Welcome mate and good luck!

Taa ill wang a tyre off the rim tommora, im not expecting them to be anything special but before I bung them up for sale im jus making sure im not rippin myself off by letteing a set of rare wheels go for £50, if they aint ill sell em for £50 haha
