Offsets and 8J wheels

I don't fully understand offsets and et's but what et do I need to run 15" 8J wheels on my ep82 gt? Many thanks in advance to any useful help I'm confused as a deaf person at a rave

I ran 16 x 8 et10 and they werent too bad a fit had too roll and flare my arches abit.

Yeh made a mess of it though lol ! Just removed plastic cut it and use no nails too put it back on, i hammered my arches instead of using a roller lol

Not efectively no cause two of the tabs are at the top of the arch, it aint hard too do, ive done cars with a proper roller fine, i just dont care about my car that much haha.

When you roll your archs you need to use a heat gun and heat the metal and paint before rolling so you dont crack the paint anyway so heat up the plastic arch trim at the same time and when its hot enough it will bend with it

Have done one like this before as i work in a body shop

Nah et 20 6.5 should be fine im runnin 6.5 et35 with 20 mm up front and 25 mm out back now and they dont seem to be too close too the arches, depends what lows and xamber you got too.....

My et35 6.5 15" tims new actions rub on the front when braking on corners on 195/50/15 yoko paradas

My et30 7.0 15" works with 195/50/15 avons rub like a mother all round all the time

my wheels which i would assume to be 6.5-7j approx et35 195/50/15 rubbed on my arch liner when going round right handers. so i raised it 10mm and its fine now

Lad on here ran grid v's 15x8 et 0, had too roll his arches, there heavy wheels too so not great for driving fast

I'm going to be running 15x7 ET13, currently on 195/50 tyres which rub a little on the GT but it's only dropped about 35mm

I'm planning to lower it more on Meisters so I'm definitely going to need the arches rolling. And I don't want to run skinny stretched tyres as I want to use the car on track a fair bit!
