Q - Differences In Rocker Covers ?

What are the differences between N/A and FTE rocker covers ?

And can a 5E N/A rocker cover be modified into a 'race spec' cover with AN fittings etc. ?

Its missing an outlet on the na cover and the one outlet that is on em is in the wrong place iirc. I've a couple of spare 4e ones if your looking to buy one to be modded.

Thanks for the info man, there is a N/A one on the engine i'm getting so i would probably modify that into a 'race spec' one, i take it thats possible yeah ? And probably get an FTE cover in the mean time.

You can mod the N/A one, but you will have to remove the baffle plate inside to drill through accurately.

Is removing that baffle plate easy to do ?

just mark the hole then drill str8 thru cover and plate mate

That would defeat the point of having a baffle plate, oil would get blown straight out the hole. I removed my baffle plate you have to grined off the lugs then drill and tap the holes and put bolts in with locktite that's what I did to make sure there's no bits left inside to fook up the engine, there's picks of mine in my build thread.
