lew777
wheres it leaking?
Amjad
The diaphragm I think, the rubber had worn through to see the mesh. I used RTV sealant to close the gap up as I saw it was done successfully on a guide on another forum but it still didn't sound right! A new one is $80 from Greddy & shipping but they don't have it in stock
Matt1878
I've never actually heard of the Greddy Type S leaking... Hmm, sorry to hear about that dude :/

Amjad
I've never actually heard of the Greddy Type S leaking... Hmm, sorry to hear about that dude :/Yeah there's quite a lot of topics on other forums about them leaking, and the diaphragms being really flimsy! All DV's leak imo Seal up the route. Chatter Tastic I do love my chatter! I've had the BOV port blocked off from day 1, but I bought the Type S last year off Ebay for cheap as it's the only one I've ever liked and thought I'd try it out. Turns out it didn't have that characteristic PING sound and was a bit wheezy. Couldn't fix it either as other people has seemed to have done!I ask if anyone else has one because I'm looking into getting a diaphragm from a US company which is from a BOV based exactly on a Type S but has a better designed, stronger diaphragm. They definitely fit in original type S going by what some US forums have said, it costs $40 but the shipping is $40! So was wondering if anyone was needing another so we could split postage? Matt1878
Maybe a silly question but with it bring bought off eBay is it a genuine Greddy?... So many copies on there I can never be sure :/
Amjad
Yeah it's a genuine Greddy, it has the stamped flange etc. It's a shame too as the condition on the outside is really good Before I cleaned it lolVideo of said Replica (but with the better diaphragm) BOV/>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vybxR8z4cGMAnd the diaphragmsAnd yeah my diaphragm looks like the Greddy oneDunno if this is possible, but could the flange bit need resealing perhaps?
