It has a little locating pin that needs to be removed once you seperate the turbo which allows you to rotate it to any point.

just tap it soft and steady with a proper mans hammer just do it evenly. Tap at 12 o'clock then at 6, then at 3 then at 9 ect. Not the actual times or you will be there all day! I obviously mean positions on a clock lol. Same goes for the compressor cover

haha take me days to get it off doing at them times ;) ill try it with heat and rubber mallet first im heavy handed at the best of times let alone with a hammer in my hand !

yeah heat will make it easier, i strip 30 odd turbos a day and only ever use heat on stuff that comes of tractors etc because they can be a nightmare!
