New, will be looking for a Glanza in the new year!

Recommended Posts

Hi there.

After building my 213bhp B18C Civic track car I fairly quickly realised I needed somewhat more of a commuter (daily race car wasnt suitable). I now have a Honda Jazz which is a brilliant wee car although I have always been taken by the glanza's! I've decided il be looking to buy one in January/February time.

Anyone got any advice on what to look out for when buying?

Welcome to UKSO dude, civic looks awesome! More info on that please! :)

What sort of glanza you looking for colour/spec etc etc??

Good luck with your search!

Cheers! What would you like to know, full spec?

Ideally I'm after a silver facelift, but not overall bothered between the face/pre facelift as I can see any major differences!

LSD would be a bonus though.

Like the civic bar the spoiler! Love the chopped rear bumper and zorst haha. Race car :)!... Welcome to the forum.

Advice on buying would be the same for any car. Don't buy anything that's been cheaply done... Learn which brands are better and worse, avoid cheap and look for attention to detail. If someone cares about their car and has a good knowledge of looking after it they'll have spent money where it counts and maintained the important bits over stuff that isn't as important ;)... Problem with Glanzas and GTs is they're a nice cheap turbo hatch and a lot of lads get them to beat the shit out of for a few months and then get something else when stuff starts to fall apart lol.

Or buy from the forum. That way you have a history from their posts and build thread if they have one.... You usually get what you pay for!

Civic is a weapon.... Why didnt u turbo that thing lol

Glanza will certainly be a case of welcome to the world of torque :p

Ull need to upgrade to a td04 turbo tho to get similar performance as that :)

Classic example of torqueless Hondas! When it was screaming in vtec though... :p

Was going to go the turbo route, but that meant a completely different engine as the B18C is too high a compression to realistically work with.

Exactly my plans, td04 seems the route to go. Wont be making the glanza anywhere near as "out there" as the Civic though....famous last words! 8)
