steve-gers Posted January 23, 2013 Share Posted January 23, 2013 Best to put it on s ramp. Just put your hand up thebck of the engine it's the only sensor there. If you still have the bracket between the sump and inlet mani you will need to remove this to get at it. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

To test the wiring check continuity between the plug (remove from sensor) and the KNK pin on your ecu. Also check at the plug end you may see a small amount of the shielding visible, if not trim back carefully and check that this has continuity to earth. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Also check at the plug end you may see a small amount of the shielding visible, if not trim back carefully and check that this has continuity to earth.I agree with the continuity check how ever u can get that even if the wire was damaged or say carroied what I would do is do a risistent check as well as that would show signs or corrosion. How ever disconnect the engine ecu before this other wise u can risk blowing up the ecu as it will but voltage down the wire when u do the test. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
