Bonnet flapping?

Couldn't find an answer when I searched for this. I have a standard glanza bonnet and vent. When I'm going along the motorway it jumps up and down on its catch. Do they all do this or is there some way of adjusting the height in the latch? Getting paranoid it's going to just open itself one day!

Mine dosent do this mate so I'd deffo take a look at why it's doing it! Bonnet pins would stop this mate

All my glanza's have done this never had one open yet.

Are the rubber bonnet stops too low?

If not then try taking the catch off and make the holes longer so it sits lower

Thanks for the info everyone. At least I have nothing to worry about. I might try moving the latch as well

Wrap the metal bar that the catxh hooks on to in insulation tape, both my cars do it, its a cheap easy fix and lasts months.

adjust the bonnet catch down and screw the rubber stops up, that should do the trick

The bonnet catch isnt adjustable, raising the rubbers just puts the bonnet out of line

Mines had a bit of adjustment in it, i had to do it when i fitted my carbon bonnet, i think i had to loosing off the bottom bolt on the center supporter bar thing.

Mine must have already been done then, anyway tape works well enough for me lol

my old na did this when i put a glanza bonnet on at first so bought another bonnet catch and it never did it again

Adjust the bonnet stopper mate just to the inside of both headlights iirc probs need to move them up

I'll try and adjust the stoppers. Will wrap the catch with insulation tape too

Have you got the support bar on the catch?
