ady2k5
I would have had this but the cambelt has not been done and it will cost £300 to do, plus i won't be comfortable driving it around with the original factory fitted cambelt.
loguey
Why would it cost 300 to change the cambelt?
jonnyoldroyd
Why would it cost 300 to change the cambelt?if it was a diamond incrusted belt maybe ha
ady2k5
Why would it cost 300 to change the cambelt? Thats what i've been quoted by the local garage for parts and labour and i've been using them for many years and servicing on previous cars. Work colleague had a cambelt change done on a 15 year old Fiat Punto recently and the cheapest she was quoted was £295. Toyota would charge at least £500 for a cambelt change. Idrees
£300 for a cam belt change for one of these cars is ludicrous, regardless of how good the garage is.
Sefton-EP91
Do the Cambelt yourself abit of common sense and NO stupid mistakes and your away. Not hard to do! Would advise water pump to the new owner if for example it's still the original belt and pump! Can get the belt done for 60quid if you that desperate! Lol
jonnyoldroyd
Theres no guarantee it a on the original cambelt as its been driven in Ireland for four years so common sense should of told the pprevious owner to change it
Spoon_tuned
i got charged £180 from toyota themselves to change the cambelt And i'm guessing this has to be registered in the uk before you can tax it??? or is that wrong?
