Crooks Posted February 24, 2013 Author Posted February 24, 2013 Na it's just started to do this it's really werid like. But I will give the fueling a check and ignition Quote
daniel_g Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Boost leak ? Check intercooler pipes, joiners for splits, tightness etc. Quote

kbond Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Mine has just started doing this, i went out an hour ago to pick brother up and its boosting but doesnt feel like it wants to go so had a quick look under the bonnet for anything obvious but couldnt see anything it was abit smokey though, will have another look tomorrow when its lightAnyone no what this could be? Quote
kbond Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Anyone??? Had a look under the bonnet and cant see anything wrong Quote
russ78 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 if your on the stock fuel pump and have turned up the boost I would change to a 255lph fuel pump it could be packing up Quote
kbond Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Its a tuning developements 255 fuel pumpIts mapped by td at 1bar on td04 Quote
russ78 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 wont be the pump then lolcould be a problem with injectors as it sounds like a fuel problem not a boost problem do you have a wideband ? Quote
kbond Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Thats what i was thinking and no i dont have been looking for some gauges but keep missing themWhere could i get a decent wideband? Quote
russ78 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 if your running 1 bar on a td04 best way to know what your cars doing is a wideband these are overnight delivery http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AEM-GAUGE-6-in-1-TYPE-WIDEBAND-UEGO-CONTROLLER-30-4100-/300454336182?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item45f47956b6 Quote
russ78 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 no but you will need a bung welded in your exhaust for the oxygen sensor Quote
kbond Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Thats not a problemMay have to order 1 of them wheb i get paid then looking at getting oil temp and pressure water temp and fuel pressure gauges aswell Quote
kbond Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 If it was injectors would i be able to put bigger 1s in or would i have to get it mapped again then? I still have standard injectors Quote
kbond Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Well im not driving up to td again its bout 200miles away lol will just put standards in again i think Quote
russ78 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 u can pick up another standard set for next to nothing even cheaper than flow testing the 4 you already have, and to be fair if your running 1 bar on td04 stocks will be ok but I would advise getting a wideband first to get some idea of whats going on inside Quote
kbond Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 So i have finally got a wideband gauge in today to see what the problem is as ots still there but im not sure how it should be acting has anyone got any videos? It seems to be around 15 on idle but does go up and down a littleAlso when putting my foot down it goes right round to 10 and stays there and then well i let off it goes right around to red and doesnt read anything??? Quote
Weyro Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 10 seems a bit rich, thats maybe why its holding back, when u lift off it its supposed to go full lean, so thats fine Quote
RobSR Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 10.0 or 10. something? Ideally you want to be aiming for around 11.8:0 on full chat. Quote
