attaching offset reg plate

May sound like a gay question but how do people attach the reg plate when its offset i could use self tappers but they will rust and won't tape just fall off ?

Im sure it's like a number plate tilt you can buy them ill find one

how would l shaped brackets work ? Wouldn't they need to be U shaped

Two L shape brackets either side and then screw the plate to it..

Sure I've heard some people just using Velcro!?

Nah russ, L shaped ones work if you screw one hole to the back of the plate obviously, and the other bit of the bracket to a part of the bumper that faces up the way, if yo get what i mean.

Also when you remove it you wont see any holes in the front of the bumper because you make the holes up the way.

Tbh, plate tape nowadays is fucking solid, and more than capable if you use the decent stuff.

I see how this bracket works now much better as its out of sight exactly what im looking for

had issues a few times with reg plate tape coming lose and have no faith in it anymore

Velcro tape is really good, just clean the surface thoroughly and apply it well

Tegiwa numberplate re-locator kit and then cable tied to that! Not the best looking or that stable but stops the police pulling me over!
