Socks
Nope... The vertical bracket that goes near the handbrake is different... The remaining three are the same however!
TrisK
Yes with slight mods
Mike@TD.co.uk
You can make them fit, but they're not direct replacement no. Cheers Mike JonesTuning Developments Ltd
russ78
So Is it just the one bracket ? Can it be moved to fit without rewelding or can the bracket be redrilled to fit it ?

russ78
Does it need to move much ? Couldn't you just redrill a new hole or open it out a little ?
rmsnoel
Just cut off the locating pins under the ep82 seat rails then screw the four bolts in little and then tighten them all up. Straight forward...10minute job
griffo20022
Hey guys sorry to bring up an old thread. I bought some GT for Jess' s Starlet the seatbelts on the GT were bolted to the floor rather than the seat unlike the SR where the buckles are on the seat. The buckles from the original seats wont go onto the GT seats. Anybody else come across this problem??
daniel_g
Are they MK1 GT seats, school tie diagonal pattern ? I had that issue when i put them in my old MK3, i just used harnesses instead of seatbelts. Suppose you could source some MK2/3 seat rails with the seatbelt mounting points and then swap them onto those seats. I'm having similar issues just now putting GT seats in my 85. griffo20022
Not too sure what year GT they came from. I would have used Harnesses but Jess doesnt like them lol! Yer that might have to be the case I think. Doh should have researched more lol!
daniel_g
Chuck up a pic and i'll tell you what GT they came from.
griffo20022
I managed to sort it I adapted a spacer and a longer bolt to mount the buckle on the rear rail bolt on the side
daniel_g
Good stuff I finished one of my seats to, ended up retrimming the bottom half of an 85 seat in GT trim and using the GT upper back section aswell, so i dont have pikey up any rails etc, it all bolts down as it should, well chuffed lol
