RossTRD Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Has anyone found a way to fit these and relocate their air filter without removing air con? Quote
StuDoc 72 Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Nope. Just get rid of the aircon everybody does in the end. Quote
Amjad Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 It's making life a lot more difficult for yourself should you decide to keep it. One or two people have Quote
scottyb Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Can just an fmic be fitted and keep the air con? Dont really want to be ripping it out atm! Quote
Liam_D Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 It can but it makes so much more sense to rip it all out Matey! It just gets in the way. Quote
Bryan-4E-FTE Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 There's a guy in the netherlands.Running 1 bar on a blitz ECUFMIC and his airfilter re-located.All custom work tho Quote
_shaun_ Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Nope. Just get rid of the aircon everybody does in the end. this man speaks sense he was adamant he would keep his A/C when i first met him needless to say its been ripped out now. Quote
Simon Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 The blitz cooler was desinged to fit with the air con, not sure which of the popular cheap chinese makes was a copy of the blitz but one was so getting one of those would work with the air con still on place. Front mounting a filter on the other hand would be difficult, you might be able to get it into the drivers front wing in the wheel arch liner. Quote
RossTRD Posted March 23, 2013 Author Posted March 23, 2013 ive came to the decision that with english weather its not very likely id often need air con so its going bye bye Quote
MARC MOSS Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 I loved my aircon I had it in my gt for years... It was great in the summer and I ran a wepr front mount. Unless u are really really keen on saving bit of weight id leave it if u like it! I removed mine after engine 2 went as the rad was damaged removing the engine it gassed out and I needed the car in the road.. I ran a gauze at that point mind Quote
