TurboTobz
So, got my first V when I was 18 it was a high spec'd k24 previously owned by kingy glanza and Sumodan. When I lost my job I decided to sell it. (I'll upload pics and spec soon).Since then I've had a lot of cars but I eventually got bored of my Ibiza cupra and decided to get another glanza. I wanted something white pref 98 spec and with a bit done, I ended up getting a silver 96 spec with very little done. I was not overly happy with it and knew i would be changing a lot on it!Here's how she looked:-The car originally had a livesports front end it was cracked and replaced with a 96 spec bumper.Spec was as follows (taken from for sale listing and modified slightly as I found a few little surprises) Hks ssqv squential dump valveHks mushroom air filter Hks actuatorHks fuel cut defenderMagnicore 8mm blue ht leads no kingToyo sport stainless manifoldToyo sports stainless decatStraight through system (DIY straight bar welded in and universal can clamped on) Jperformance oil catch canTanabe sustec and shocksFront mount intercoolerComplete hard piping and blue hosingMph dial facia16" advan rcii reps excelBonnet raisers98 spec rear lights98 Spec clear indicatorsOriginal optional wind deflectorsOriginal optional ignition ring lightelectric mirrorsLivesports rear spoilerfob system (remote battery gone)Smoked boost gauge pod New brake discs and pads all roundBlue anodised throttle pulleyAs I was searching through the car I found a hks FCD which was switched off that the owner didn't know about.I started removing some shitty blue brackets and found a anodised blue throttle pulley. The owner had no idea what make the coilovers were I expected them to be crap. Everything had been rattle canned blue, and the exhaust manifold was cracked and blowing among a few other little pesky issues. TurboTobz
Remote fob didn't work battery was dead. These aren't changeable so I saw this as a challenge:-Changed the battery and stuck it back together a little soldering was done to loose components and hey presto! TurboTobz
Spruced up the catch can, cut some holes in the level indicator and screw it through them so the can covers the entire catch can.
TurboTobz
Got this:- but it needed a side exit exhaust hole patching and some inter cooler cutouts patchingPrimed it up in a grey and left it.

TurboTobz
My toyosports manifold eventually killed the ct9 oil feed my mate tried brazing it for me but it didn't quiet work out so rather than mess about I started some ordering, really dislike ct9's...Big ass screamer Mine and rbz's replacements couretsy of Magnecore racingAnd so the work began!made a small cut out for the Slam panel reinforcement bar to clear the external wastegateLeft it over night and came back to ensure I'd got everything sorted no point rushing these things next day came...Decided against running the bonnet exit screamer...(radiator still hasn't been completely mounted I have the brackets just need a day in the garage)had a small bit of fabrication involved for intercooler etc but not a massive amount.Parts were: - td05h 16g and a td04 16g but the 04 needed seals so it's sat in my garage at the moment- Magnecore racing king lead.- tuning developments braided oil feed.- mild steel ewg manifold td series flanges.- stainless steel td series decat.- Copper nuts for manifold.- toyosports heat wrap.- Turbosmart ultra gate 38mm external wastegate .5 and 1.0 bar spring.- 38mm screamer pipe.- jperformance 42mm civic alloy racing radiator.- Toyota red coolant.- Castrol Magnatec fully synthetic 10w40 oil. This left me with the fuelling to sort and set up until I have a better set up and Ecu. TurboTobz
Liam, I span my wastegate 180 degrees, it was designed so you could cut a small hole in your scoop for it to come through. Got it from eBay the seller was called Ryan-onfire.

TurboTobz
Began fitting them, borrowed a rocker cover from the infamous rbz (cheers) while I began modifying my own and losing the blue that over ran my bay. Also gave the bay a coat of degreaser and done a wire tuck on my injector rail, and removed my charcoal cannister and vented it below the car.Got rid of this bollocks and the bodge up of an exhaust system too. No pics of the exhaust but it was genuinely a waste of time!
TurboTobz
So the time came for a colour change, I didn't have time to get the 98 spec bumper sorted so I filled the glanza badge recess and remove it and dropped it off for the weekend.Stripped down:I left it like this Friday evening and returned to this on Sunday afternoon:Car was completely vinyl wrapped in white! Looked amazing Was really impressed! Also the livesports spoiler was removed and replaced with an oem spoiler and high level brake light cheers hughes21/joe!
