jordan walker Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 With my first glanza i used to be able to get out and lock the car and leave it running with mine though i have to wait till the timer goes off too lock it. Is this a problem with the timer wiring or the alarm? Or could it be both? Quote
JordanEP91 Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 (edited) Mine locks with the turbo timer running but a lad I know had one and he couldn't lock it till the car turned off Edited March 24, 2013 by JordanEP91 Quote

Jim* Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 hmm could it be a different harness that could do it? Quote
akyakapotter Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 It can be done but if I remember rightly a few relays need to be put in some where so you can arm the alarm with the car still running Quote

TrisK Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Yeah. The alarm/central locking module has to be wired in to be able to do it Quote

bucketep91 Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 My old glanza did the same, was a pain in the arse locking it with the key as it was stiff. I used to get out with the drivers window down lock the doors from the inside then hit the window switch and get my arm out quick:D Quote

Amjad Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Do you need a specific alarm for TT to work properly?Or is it just a matter of adding something to any alarm and it'll work? Quote
jordan walker Posted March 24, 2013 Author Posted March 24, 2013 Mine is a blitz F.A.T.T with a sterling alarm if someone knows how to do it it would be ideal as my key for the doors is different to the key for the ignition lol so i literaly have to wait till the fucker turns itself off Quote
Jim* Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 yeah a guide or something would be good as it is f'ing annoying Quote

TrisK Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 You need to wire the alarm switched ingition feed from the turbo timers accessory wire iirc Quote
