alright peps, whats the best way to get a snapped stud out from the head ?? And also what size are they m6 or mate does anyone sell them on here too???

It sticks out a couple of mm above the valve cover

Ahhh awesome iddy, i brought a set the rubber washer sets for it in preperation in doing this, just finding the time. But il have a stud off you dude

I will PM you to sort that mate.

I had the same problem once and I bought a tool that gripped on to the bit of thread that was sticking out and tightened on to it with a rachet. That got it out but I really can't remember what it's called.

I'm referring to something else, I'll try to remember tomorrow when I have a bit of brain power left in me, lol!

A stud extractor would work too though.

A flat headed screw driver, patience and a hammer tend to sort it for me lol just keep smashing it round until enough sticks out to grip a set of pliers onto ;-)

I think i might try locking too nuts onto it first. Then get the mole grips out :)

the valve/rocker cover ones just unbolt out with a socket?

just undo the rest, take the rocker cover off and get a deep 10mm socket on it?
