When I put my foot down it will come on boost and sit at 0.3 and ill only get two green lights until 5.5k revs when it then goes up to 0.6 and pulls harder, I'm running stock ct9 with stock actuator.

Anybody know what this could be?

Can't be leaky dump valve because it is blocked off :)

Can't imagine it's a boost leak as It was doing it with the top mount intercooler on and still doing it now with my front mount on

Does that mean it must be my actuator?

i would also check the turbo,

thake the intake pipe off the turbo and see if you can spin the intake wheel. it should spin freely and should not have any resistance.

mine used too hold .9bar then spike too like 1.2 after 5k

Best thing you can do is get thst motor ran in bugger of the ct9 and get youtsrlf a nice externaly gated td04 setup :p.

she's ran in just saving now haha

  • 4 months later...

sorry for bumping up an old thread but still needing help on this, have replaced my actuator, that didn't fix it, have taken off the turbo and checked for shaft p[lay and there is minimal play less than 1mm. and I'm 99% sure it isn't a leak from my intercooler pipework. does anybody have any other ideas what could be causing this? getting so frustrating now!
