TD04 on standard engine

Recommended Posts

I know theres quite a few topics about this, but after a rough kinda guide on what ill need.

My engine is totally standard aside from exhaust, ssqv and panel filter, but i cant get the idea of td04 out of my head.

What kinda stuff would i need to get up and running on td04 with standard engine?

I know obviously the kit, fmic and ecu.

But is anything else needed/recommended? Not even sure what gauges would be best for monitoring things.

Total noob when it comes to this kinda stuff! Lol.

Is TD04 not mentioned in Sock's guide? You don't really need anything more than when running a bar on CT9 apart from TD04 water and Oil lines, and perhaps a Civic rad

So am in the process of doing this myself, there is obviously a bare minimum of parts you need but i want mine to be reliable. So not all of these are necessary. But there is no harm in doing these all the now as you could swap to a bigger turbo setup without much hassle.

So first thing i did was replace all the service parts. Timing belt, water pump, engine hoses, dizzy cap etc.

Mods wise, got most but still need a few parts for peace of mind.

Iridium plugs

Uprated leads

Triple core civic radiator

FMIC

Exhaust

Filter

255 fuel pump

FPR

Paddle clutch

Wideband

Set of gauges

Management

TD04, mani, decat, EWG, braided oil feed and silicone return.

Get mapped

There might be more but thats about it i think.

I didnt see anything anyway!

Ah right :). Wasnt sure if there would be extra stuff needed as well. May have to start pricing stuff up haha.

Just wanted to be sure so its done as safely and reliably as possible as its my daily and only car so would be fucked if it was to go wrong!
