daniel_g
Maybe its dear because people dont insure them right, something happens like a crash and insurance wont pay out because it wasnt insured right, therefore putting everyones insurance up.Dont get me wrong buddy i fucking hate insurance and its the biggest fucking scam going but all cars should be properly insured. skyinsurance
Mine comes up as a corrola but how can you insure it as a glanza because when ypu have to put the reg in it comes up as a corrola amd you can't select glanza, if it says ypu don't know the reg you can select glanza that way but it eventually will need your reg so will be a corolla again???? Stop using price comparison sites when trying to insure a specialist car. There are many specialist insurers out there who cater for imported cars.
skyinsurance
Ps, my ep82 daily just comes up as a Toyota, not even a model name!
fremyjay
problem is none of the specialist companys can beat the insurance ive got through confused.com and that is registering it as a glanza
skyinsurance
problem is none of the specialist companys can beat the insurance ive got through confused.com and that is registering it as a glanza Fair enough, it's unlikely the cover will be like for like when compared but if the quotation is correct and price is competitive, go for it. If you are planning any future modifications, it may be an idea to find out whether the insurer will cater for these.

Ollieh17
Mine came up strange on most websites... But typing in my reg on elephant brought it up as a glanza turbo import. Cheapest price i found by far too.. And minimum costs to cover mods
loguey
I did try sky just for my sr and the guy said hed call me back and never did! So just renewed with elephant again.
Spoon_tuned
I've been through this years ago when i had my first gt insured it as a gl as couldnt find the right one. But nowadays i go to specialists and insure all mods because if anything happens i'd like to think i could get most of my money back on it... If its someone elses fault. I could probably get it at least £200 cheaper a year insuring as a 1.3 non turbo but id rather pay the extra money to cover myself.
skyinsurance
I did try sky just for my sr and the guy said hed call me back and never did! So just renewed with elephant again. That is disappointing, my apologies. I'm just at the end of a PM if anyone has an issue to bring to our attention. Thanks
