TurboTobz
Mikes not silly, to be fair it's sounds like a hose or something simple there's always likely to be teething issues. It's very unfourtunate but these things do happen and by sounds of it the recovery fee's are going to exceed the cost of the repair!
Flynn
Bit off topic but have people been having problems with the CJ hose kits?Hope it's nothing too serious mate!

Lew91
Looks like the metal pipe has popped out, there should be a bracket on the pipe double check that it's bolted to the block.
yaristurbo
As above little 10mm holds it to block once slide into pump
TurboTobz
I'll get a pic of the back of a water pump and piping it may help
iamlegend
so I take it that needs popping back in or what?? but there is nothing to secure it back in? so has the pump shat it self or what? Edited June 22, 2013 by iamlegend
yaristurbo
Shouldn't just pop back in
Lew91
Pump should be ok, push the pipe back in so you can't see the rubber seal, find a 10mm bolt and pop that back in job done boost till your hearts content Obviously put more anti freeze back in lol would double check the seals in its seat tho. Lew91
No 10mm bolt That's if it's not there, I'd double check first tho.
rwdrev
mine did this, but i found the O ring on the pipe had split, obviously not enuf lube. bit of a cock to get at when its built, but very easy fix.
morgey
That pipe should have a bracket on it bolted to the block stopping it from being able to come out like it has.Either the bolts come out or it was never fitted
TurboTobz
The brackets just past the hose that t's off from nearest the pump hold on I got you some pics
TurboTobz
You can see the bracket in second pic
iamlegend
Just checked the gasket has sheered of need a new gasket! how do you detach it's stuck in its loose bit doesn't want to come off Ffs So what's happened here?? Bracket been forgot? Also when new gasket is on how does it tight back on? where shall i get a new gasket? this is new so wtf lol Edited June 22, 2013 by iamlegend
Lew91
I'd imagine the silicone hoses are holding the metal pipe in place, remove the silicone ones and completely remove the metal one. Them replace the O-ring, push the metal pipe back in, replace 10mm bolt (use loctite if your paranoid about losing it again) then reconnect the silicone hoses job done.
