Bollocks my tongs gt spec hybrid at 1.1bar was fucking fast, especially off the lights and around town the spool time was amazing, I'd have had a go at most td04 starlets about town... Td04-ct9hybrid argument coming up lol

hmm i have a blitz plug & play guess i wouldnt have to remap it? wont be going td04 till 2015 atleast! wont be properly on the road till next year, do the ct9 oil & water feeds fit the hybrid ?

Ah ok I will shut up, my tongs made my car go like a mother on the streets but a roads it did run out of steam

I'm not doubting that yours was not quick as I've never seen your car or ever had a tongs was just goin on my experience with speedvision against td04 :) tbh the hybrid was enough for pulling away from most town cars but I just always want more power

StuDoc, what boost you are running and have you got the car dynoed?

Only 0.6 mate as my mani cracked.

Waiting to collect an ext w/g ramhorn.

My turbo is custom built though has a larger comp wheel and exhaust wheel.

Will be going to 1.2 on an EMU as soon as I have the mani fitted.

At 0.7/0.8 before the mani cracked it felt ridiculous compared to std CT9.

Alrighty, I was just wondering as I have gt spec, but running JAM p&p and EMU will surely make difference too.

What boost have you been running mate? I was thinking of having uprated racing seals put in mine during the rebuild but it was already costing me into the high end of £300 so thought against it.



Im hoping the EMU does make a difference Im expecting at least 220 from it with the emu and ext wg mani. Might need to change injectors aswell wait and see what advise the mappers give.

0.8 as I have stock top mount installed atm. After changing my setup I got some hot pipe fitting problems, but I hope to get it sorted during the next two weeks. Can't wait to get my fmic back on and then I'll go for 1.2.

I assume you have the long route cooler piping that likes to go over the top of the mani?



You can use all the extra piping and chop it up to make a short route im sure if you bolt the hot pipe on backwards it goes down just behind the headlight.

I have a modified "stock" hot pipe which goes down, but HKS actuator is on a way, so can't use it. Then I bought another hot pipe from Dean, but can't use it either as it hits the radiator. I think the turbo might been rotated just a bit so Dean's pipe won't fit. Civic rad should sort me out :-)
