Jam style Carbon FPR Closed Scoop never been fitted no marks no scratches needs sealant to fit

Id of snapped it up if it bolted on but dont want to seal a scoop on my jam bonnet :(free bump for an awesome looking scoop.

I'd stick one into my jam bonnet. You just use rtv instead of tiger seal

Is it better to be closed other than the standard scoop? If so 40 posted ?

Depends if you have a front mount bud if you do yes its better as it stops water getting into the spark plug tubes. I can tell you now mate he won't sell for £40 posted he payed £60ish for it may be wrong though.

Yeah I'm front mounted, seems like the original would help coole engine bay temps though ,?

There lies the dilemma lol

If the top mount has gone the oe vent is redundant, the bung is there to help air flow smoothly over the bonnet rather than into it,

Thats what i was told
