akyakapotter Posted August 21, 2013 Author Posted August 21, 2013 Is it better to be closed other than the standard scoop? If so 40 posted ?Depends if you have a front mount bud if you do yes its better as it stops water getting into the spark plug tubes. I can tell you now mate he won't sell for £40 posted he payed £60ish for it may be wrong though.
EP-Azz Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Yeah I'm front mounted, seems like the original would help coole engine bay temps though ,?
Amjad Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 Yeah I'm front mounted, seems like the original would help coole engine bay temps though ,? There lies the dilemma lol
Towbar Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 If the top mount has gone the oe vent is redundant, the bung is there to help air flow smoothly over the bonnet rather than into it, Thats what i was told
