When I purchased my car it said it had a hybrid turbo on the spec, I've never checked this as I wouldn't know how to tell

How can I find out if its hybrid or standard ct9?

This is my first turbo'd car so don't really know much about them,

Thanks in advance.

Look at the compressor side of the turbo (not the exhaust side, look into the turbo if it have 4 x double blades it's a standard turbo if it has multiple blade it's a hybrid

Should be able to have a look with the filter off, power steering pump might be in the way tho

Get a pic and post it up if you can.

Also another quick question, when i plant my foot down it will sit at 0.5 bar until around 4-4500rpm then go to 0.7 bar, it just doesn't feel right

Standard turbo has too small wastegate so it won't flow enough making your boost go up more than it should and it's called a boost creep
