Standard oil pump how much boost can it take?

I've got a CT12 on my starlet and was wondering when I'd have to uprate the oil pump. currently on 0.75 bar. Want to go to a 1.0. bar.

Standard that's normal practise as far as I'm aware never heared of upgrading on any application

ok Cheers, I didn't think I did. But my mate said it would be worth asking.

There is no upgraded oil pump for the E series engine. Besides the boost pressure its running makes no difference.

In other scenes they uprate the oil pump on occasion, in skyline world for example.

That not because they use plastic rather than metal for the internals? So they change to the N1 oil pump. I might well be thinking of another engine though lol.

Only needs upgrading if your going to be revving considerably higher

It's someone that does all my head work etc. He said it might be worth a ask. But no worries.

Unfortunately there is no uprated oil pump for the E series engine, there is a Toga "high flow" oil pump, but its been proved that it is exactly the same as an OEM Toyota unit, the rotor inside is exactly the same in thickness and diameter, all Toga did was scratch out the Toyota casting.

More than welcome to design your own though
