That not because they use plastic rather than metal for the internals? So they change to the N1 oil pump. I might well be thinking of another engine though lol. AdamB Posted September 11, 2013 Share Posted September 11, 2013 Unfortunately there is no uprated oil pump for the E series engine, there is a Toga "high flow" oil pump, but its been proved that it is exactly the same as an OEM Toyota unit, the rotor inside is exactly the same in thickness and diameter, all Toga did was scratch out the Toyota casting.
