leemillin
Hi guys, I have a silver n/a starlet and also have a gt but been thinking on makein the silver n/a turbo. just want to see what people think
deebo
Id just beef ip the gt and keep the n/a as is. Depending on whay kit you would want may require some other costly stuff like forged engine and upgrading all the feuling stuff. With that monies the gt could be made into a monster! Or have to monstera and have the choice of whitch one to drive haha
mikey4410
got my sportif sorted handling wise and tracked it after owning it for 6 months. did amazingly well on trackday with 70 bhp and surprised alot of more powerfull cars. after this decided it was right to turbo it. HUGE AMOUNT OF WORK,but best thing i ever did on it. trackday again soon ,with another 130 bhp. should be interesting..............................
leemillin
the gt needs bodywork and the silver one just need that engine swapped over. the n/a with the turbo will be a monster aswell

leemillin
oh i got the ct9 turbo at the mo, just want to be boosting tbh
RobSR
swapping the engine and loom is pretty easy. if the gt needs alot of work and the engine is sound, just drop that in the n/a.
leemillin
yeah the gt needs abit of work
RobSR
Turbo the n/a then. Swap the engine/box/hubs/shafts and brakes (mornings work) then splice the gt loom into the n/a and swap the gt ecu in. Bosh. Happy boosting
leemillin
tbh, i dont know what am doing so i'll be getting trd to do the work for me

Theres loads to do with conversions and stuff on here, a few days reading and you would be clued up on how to do it all yourself i reckon. But if your not keen then take it to them.Just make sure you take pictures of their work so we get to see it too :-D
RobSR
Like said its all pretty basically mechanically, just take your time and it'll be fine.

TomStarlet
i would definitely do it mate, somewhere down the line i would love to buy a gt donor car and drop the whole lot in with loom etc like has been said, there is more than enough threads, wording and pictures to give yourself a good outline of whats needed and the outcome...go for it mate! Chief Quimby
http://bil2.webgallerier.dk/album/fuldskaerm/339/1691445-revnet-manifold Did it on my old engine, didnt do anything, just installed the turbo kit from 4efte.Ran o,5 bar. Installed the injectors from 4efte and used a mapconverter(40 pounds) to tune it with.
Chris Green
JayStar77 has a turbo'd 4e-fe, think he said it's been fine for about 2 years. Ran on low boost of course.
