Addymk2 Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 I bought a fob the other day, programmed it, but it only unlocks the passenger side for some reason If you lock the passenger door with the key does your drivers door lock? Quote
Ollieh17 Posted October 14, 2013 Author Posted October 14, 2013 mines definitely got remote central locking, looks like the key fob is OEM toyota,so either the guy was lying and it doesn't work with a glanza. Or im missing something, Quote
corofin12345 Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 im sure the OEM glanza fob can still be got in toyota.. parts number is: 89742-10010 Quote
Ollieh17 Posted October 14, 2013 Author Posted October 14, 2013 yeh it can. Its like £40 i think, this one only cost me £8 so was hoping it worked and saved me a bit of money Quote
corofin12345 Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 may be worth borrowing someones fob to see if you car will except it.. its easy to program them on any glanza... my old fob is now on its 4th glanza since i sold it and god knows how many before i had it Quote
Ollieh17 Posted October 14, 2013 Author Posted October 14, 2013 i may try it one day, unfortunately don't know anyone with a glanza pretty local to me. Might spend an hour in my car trying to get it to work again haha. Quote
Ollieh17 Posted October 17, 2013 Author Posted October 17, 2013 Thats what i thought i was gonna get! Not sure its worth 30-40 from Toyota tbh! Quote
fremyjay Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 Ive been lucky too have one with all my glanzas, but my last one didnt work, will soon find out with this one once its up and running Quote
