Neo95
Hi all, Probable been asked many of times but can I find it can I f**k lol. What sort of power (BHP) can the standard 4E engine handle safely? Thanks Neil.
Chris Green
4e-fe or 4e-fte? The general assumption for a 4e-fte is around 200bhp without over doing it. Edited October 22, 2013 by chrisgreen1993

morgey
depends on the map. if setup correctly with supporting mods at around 1.0 bar that will be fine
Chris Green
As above, make sure you get the fueling setup properly to save any hassle.

Yee, It will be setup and mapped properly as most likely going to be heading to tuning developments and getting them to do it. I am thinking a CT12 Hybrid thinking that will be ok right? webby
As long as it is mapped correctly the fuelling's and AFR's are right it will be fine. My mates got a saxo vts on stock internals on a td04 at a 1 bar that's 285bhp and ran rine for 2 years never missed a beat was mapped by http://www.g-rperformance.co.uk/
Kingcarr
Talking of AFR's what should I be looking at on full boost? Loads of people told me I need one, they are the best tools to use to keep an eye on shit... But no ones interested in telling me what my numbers should be at?!? Lol

webby
ARF should be in the 11's or so on boost
Turk
Afr is so debateable what it should be on. Its generally how good your mapper is. Some say low 11s some say low 12s. Shit mappers generally go for low afr basically really rich. They are scared of det. Personally around 12 i think is ideal but you would need a good ecu and a good mapper. Really depends on setup and the mapper. But just to be safe 11s are good
Phil
with a good tune and a engine that isnt already on its last legs 250 is grand. Phil
