Rob H@RCH Engineering Posted October 30, 2013 Share Posted October 30, 2013 float in tank most likely sitting at bottom.. gauge will fine though. you get approx 30 miles when you are on bottom of gauge. lol if the float is at the bottom how will the gauge read fine?? the light is not connected to the float in any way, if you look at the sender unit there is a separate sensor for the fuel light its the little round thing with the wires to it at the bottom of the sender unit.
