Guv
Here for sale is my 1994 toyota starlet gt turbo as spares or repair. The starlet started to run a little rough so I had a compression test done; all cylinders come up with low compression, the starlet has been parked up since i did the compression test and has not been started since to avoid any further damage. I do not have the spare time to fix the starlet, so it will be sold as it stands. The body has a few age related marks such as scratches and dings; the nearside rear quarter panel has some lacquer peel, 7/10 on bodywork. I have a folder full of old mots, receipts and several rolling road printouts. The most recent rolling results show 210bhp/190ftlbs. The interior is pretty much stock with the rear stripped out. The under body is very clean, the starlet is rust free. The clocks have been changed due to fuel gauge giving inaccurate readings; the mileage of the original clocks was 137521km when they were replaced. The starlet was run strictly on Shell V-power. - Location - Birmingham- Mot – 10/14- Tax – 04/14Engine/gearbox - Toyo sports turbo manifold (reinforced)- TD04L turbocharger- 200mm cone air filter- Straight through exhaust system with decat- FSE fuel pressure regulator- Alloy radiator- Manual boost controller (set at 1 bar)- Port matched inlet manifold- Oil catch tank- New bosch battery- Blitz front mount intercooler- Blitz intercooler pipes- Magnecor KV85 competition leads- 6 puck Paddle clutch- HKS fuel cut defender- Walbro 255 lph fuel pump- Powerflex gearbox mount (black series) Suspension/brakes - TRD front anti roll bar- KYB shocks- Tein springs- Grooved front brake discs Interior - 330mm OMP steering wheel with snap off boss- Impul clutch and brake pedals- Oil temperature gauge- Boost gauge- Pioneer head unit- Rear interior stripped out (included) Exterior - Toyota wind deflectors- OZ racing 15 inch alloys (paint flaking in areas)- Piaa standard to aero wipers- Aero rear bumper spats (included not fitted)- Aero sideskirts (included not fitted) £1200 A full receipt will be given as I am still waiting for the log book from DVLA. ShafzC
My old car! Good luck with the sale but having owned this car for 7 months I can say unless the next owner (which I doubt) put it on there, this car does not have a cusco LSD. Never the less this will be an incredibly good car when sorted. GLWTS.
Aamir
Lol I swear this is my cousins old car? He lives in Scotland Dunfermlin had it about 2/3 years ago
ShafzC
It belonged to Andy Oak, then N80Jamie on here, then all-legend, then me (for most of 2013), then a member on here called Tanveer who sold it after two weeks.. Then this guy. So I don't think so!
Aamir
Ah right. His had Recaro Fishnets and had a similar number plate that's all
Starlet__SR
This also had a blue cage when Andy Oaks owned it.Day

corofin12345
may i ask what the compression test readings were...??
smithyithy
I'd seriously consider snapping this up as a track project if I had the space, we've already got 3 cars in 2 spaces
ShafzC
Again good luck with the sale, really hope this doesn't get broken Really did love this car! Someone snap this up and put a new/rebuilt engine in it! It's been around for too long to die now!
Guv
may i ask what the compression test readings were...?? 85psi - 30psi - 80psi - 75psi.
corofin12345
85psi - 30psi - 80psi - 75psi. ah, was hoping for yourself it would be better.. on the other hand, ive never seen readings like that before on a 4efte.. you can clearly see that theres a problem with cylinder 2 alright but why are the others so low but still within limits..?? are you sure it wasnt: 185psi - 130psi - 180psi - 175psi...??? Phil
may i ask what the compression test readings were...?? yeah if all low, easily be a bad tester/test. check before pissing you car away. Phil EDIT just read rest of thread lol, yes a poor test or tester but no.2 is gone either way. Edited December 18, 2013 by Philm
Cheznutter
if this did get broken I would take the shell if it was in good condition (im aware of the paint work) so the cars essence would live on !!
Guv
The compression test was done whilst the engine was cold; reason being i did not want to warm the engine up in its current state for a period of time which could cause further damage. If the engine was warm i would have got higher results, either way cylinder 2 has got a problem.
Critic
Should just break this, probably be able to make more money.
