scottieboi94 Posted June 3, 2014 Author Share Posted June 3, 2014 (edited) Haven't updated my thread in a while so thought I would update everyone A few weeks ago I mentioned that I was getting some bc coilovers, a blitz k1 turbo and some used glanza calipers. They have all arrived now and are fitted, apart from the k1 which I'm sending off for a rebuild. Here are some pics: BC Coilovers: Blitz k1 turbo: I also forgot to mention that my brake discs and pads arrives, along with my braided lines which are also fitted. The braking is so much better! I found that rear calipers weren't working barely at all due to the sliders being seized but manage to easily free them up again and there as good as new Only have this pic of the front brake setup (WMS 110% Discs with ferrodo pads) I later found a marking all around the discs on both sides after driving it, I found that the brake pad clip was scraping on the disc so I filed a bit off and there is no scraping now. It must have been due to the discs being thicker, the shims provided must have been slightly too thin. Edited June 3, 2014 by scottieboi94 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Since i have received my blitz k1 turbo, when i put it on it was giving out white smoke which indicated to me oil seals, got it rebuilt and put it on today and is running great! I have also put a half rad on, fitted some bucket seats with harnesses, fitted a false floor and put my sound system back in. Lets just say its been a busy few months: New forged engineNew turbo kit (TD04)New wheelsNew fuel railNew injectorsCusco LSD GearboxBraided lines and catch tankHalf Rad installedTD Low temp thermostat fittedBC Coilovers fittedMapped by Tuning Developments So the main highlights are i have gone td04, had an lsd box and coilovers put in and had it mapped to 255.8bhp, will be more soon! Very cool man, aint that turbo kit from td04 hybrid?it is ;) hes a good guy mate, i bought turbo kit, oil ctach tank, forged engine and exhaust from him! lol. Actually he gave the catch tank and braided to me for free because i bought so much from him XD Was a shame the k1 never got the result, pulled this together nicely I thought you'd given up I reckon 280 is in your hands, more boosty I did have it mapped with the k1 on for a few months mate, its pushed 195bhp, but i soon got bored of that power ;) Quote Link to post Share on other sites
