I'm looking at getting a new car I want some thing sporty, fairly decent on fuel, 2004 on wards and not a BMW, between 4 to 5 grand to spend.

All cancelled now due to being told I'm goin to be a dad which came pretty unexpected

Swift sport? can pick them up fairly cheap and then stick a supercharger or turbo kit on and your be around the 5k all together

I was thinking of getting a merc, now looking at a 330d as I find the Merc's just look a little too boring and I wanna buy the car not the brand. Wait a couple of years and get a decent looking one!! Like a 62 plate or something with the quad lights:D

Haha fair one! I must admit had a dumb moment as suddenly assumed you meant the C63 or something as I was looking at some on the bay last night.

That would be sweet but the fuel would be rediculous! My mates 330 is bad enough.. Gets it down to 18 mpg... Wouldn't like to think what that would do!
