Wheels don't spin freely.

After tightening the drive shaft nut on the weekend the front wheels don't spin freely? They're proper grindy too.

I've just ordered new wheel bearings so hopefully that will be my answer?

Any ideas as to why they are so tight?

Are you using non abs shafts?

And dis you move the car withouth the drive shafts in?

Try giving the shaft a tap with a coppe hammer and recheck sounds like bearing not sat right

I had it with my gt the shaft was hitting the hub, can't remember what I did think was new bearings as I towed it without shafts in

Did you torque the nut to the right spec? Over tightening will cause bearing issues.

Should be 216nm and as above

Yeah I am, as the gt didn't have ABS!!!!!! Fuck.

Nope never moved the car without shafts in.

It works lol. Ive never had a come-back in work yet for any wheels or mounts etc coming loose. FT is the best way !! Within reason of course
