Chris Green
My catch can has never collected anything until yesterday / today. It's now full within 2 days of driving about 50 miles. Is there something sinister lurking?

DevonGT
What's it full of?
Chris Green
Clear liquid an oil. Smells a bit like petrol which is confusing. No smoke any more though.
Liam_D
Mine used to fill up but only when the engine was cold and only on short journeys. How is it set up??
Chris Green
This was about 40 round trip Liam. PCV -> Can -> Atmosphere if that's what you mean mate?
WallaceGlanza
It would point to the engine breathing heavily if it was filled with oil however if it's mostly clear liquid then it's just condensation, it would fill quicker in cool weather but still sounds a lot. Smelling of petrol is normal too!
Chris Green
It's backed off a good bit today. No smoke either, which is a good sign. Seems all good. Jay sorted me out the new plugs. Fueling checked, all ok. Det cans also put on and checks out ok.
