Zisco TD04 externally gated - 0.6bar on stock ecu?

Recommended Posts

Basically, Finished buying my Zisco ram horn TD04.

My setup will be;

Zisco Ramhorn Manifold

Decat

TD04

Turbosmart/TIAL 38mm Wastegate (0.6bar spring)

FMIC

No BOV

HKS Hi Power

Would this setup be able to run at 0.6bar on the wastegate without mapping? Basically, I'm inpatient as fook. So i'd like to slap this on over my holiday over xmas.

I haven't got a SAARD FPR or Wideband yet, but since im runing below factory fuel cut i think it would be ok?

Then Febauary, im planing to have it mapped on E-Manage Blue/Ultimate.

Opinions,Feedback or advice would be great.

Will be fine mate the ecu can fuel anything below fuel cut so just keep the boost down below fuel cut :) lol

was going to chuck a 0.6bar spring. Which is well below cut.. being ex.gated i guess it wont creep.. (hopefully)

.6bar spring will be fine mate..

I did that set that whilst I wasn't forged etc... ran fine bud. leave it at that boost till you have management.

Exactly what i intend on doing! Fitting it this weekend hopefully!

I ran pretty much that setup for a while, was decent, you'll love it :D

I can't wait.

I haven't been able to put my foot down for over a month. Since my decat wen't on then came fuel cut and boost creep.

So going to 0.6 on a TD04 and being able to floor it.. I'll probably jizz everywhere, have a mental orgasm and loose it. (Let's hope not the final part)

Its a good feeling haha, mind and get some windscreen wipers for the inside, incase you get too excited andcan no longer control yourself.

This will happen.

I'm going to take it down the country for it's first drive. If it all gets too much, i can bail into some woodland and finish myself off.

Expect a knock on your door from a couple of angry RSPCA inspectors lol.

This has went slightly off track now haha.

LOL! They'd be fuming....

VERY off topic. Good news is.... I'll be buying the gaskets for the kit this afternoon... Fitting the kit will be at the weekend. Can't wait.

yes thats it, but it all depends on location of your wastegate to top or bottom.lol..

so in that pic its the side port.

Yeah it'll be the side port when on!

Is that oil line the only one I need?
