Water lines?External wastegate always open-solved. Now no boost

Recommended Posts

and me, and it's really starting to annoy me haha.

If the wastegate was leaking at all e.g at the manifold flange or spring always open etc this would be apparent by noise?

If there is a boost look after the turbo this would be apparent by noise also? Unless massive and not so noticeable?

If its neither of these the turbo must be shagged

gonna swap the turbo out tomorrow. Currently have no water lines to the turbo. Would it be okay to leave the water line flanges open on the new turbo or do they HAVE to be blanked?

Blank off the engine, I don't believe you need to blank the turbo I maybe wrong.

I'd jus whack a loop of silicon from one to the other f it were me anyway!
